Founders Paul & Chris met in an office 15 years ago, but their interest in beekeeping led them to London’s rooftops and gardens, where they cared for over a million bees. They chose the name Black Bee Honey as they support British bees across multiple farms and their keepers by sourcing and celebrating only British honey.

Fernhill Fibre

Fernhill Farm on the Mendip Hills is home to the Yeo Valley flock, made up of Romney X Shetland sheep selected for organic and carbon-sequestering wool. Their lovely woollen products include scarves, cushions, blankets and clothing, as well as collaborations with craftspeople including Yuli Somme of Bellacouche and Ria Burns Knitwear.

Our friends at Goats of the Gorge make wonderful skincare products with the help of the goats from the award-winning Kerborne dairy herd in Chew Stoke, using excess milk that would otherwise go to waste. Their luxurious soaps, shampoos, bars and lotions are brilliant for sensitive skin and make perfect presents.

Using traditional recipes and small-batch methods, their eco-friendly creations have already won loads of national food awards.

Nutcessity

A tree-nut lover with a peanut allergy, Mike Duckworth started Nutcessity in Bristol in 2016. For over 3 years Mike made all of his nut butter himself from his home kitchen, with the aid of various blenders. Nutcessity today exists to make delicious organic nut butters that contain no peanuts or gluten; no palm oil or added sugar.
